The property is a working Santa Gertrudis cattle stud and home to horses and resident donkeys, Jack and Jill, who are very friendly, love attention and enjoy being hand fed apples and carrots. Take a walk along the meandering Wilson’s River and spot fish, turtles and platypus; fossick for crystals or take a refreshing dip in the cool river water on a warm summer’s day. Or, simply relax on the river bank and enjoy the quietness of our natural environment.

Black Cockatoo Bangalow accommodates up to 12 guests in luxurious, resort-style comfort with three bedrooms in the main house and two unique accommodation experiences – our gorgeous, hand-crafted, Gypsy wagon and the Love Shack Studio that features an outdoor bathroom.
